NEIRC Regional Meeting held at Truckmounts & Drying solutions

This meeting began with Italian food from a local NH restaurant, Bon appetite.

The NEIRC held a regional dinner meeting at Truckmounts & Drying Solutions. The speaker Dick Driscoll was teaching the Dri-Eaz IICRC 2-Day Complete Technical Water Damage Restoration school. Dick was elated to be our guest speaker and spoke on the subject of "Expanding your Restoration Business", the way it was presented showed that any business can move forward by expanding on their current business and knowledge.

The marketing was simple enough to understand and delivered with the common sense approach to good marketing. Dick fielded several questions about restoration and marketing from the attending members. The members always learn from the experience of the instructors as well as the sharing of information from the NEIRC members. When listening to another member explain how is business is operated and how successful they have been can eliminate some of the problems every business encounters. They are help, training, getting paid, marketing, times, procedures, certification and in general a good attitude.

The dinner was Italian from a local restaurant with beer and wine offered by Lynn Malone, president of Truckmounts & Drying Solutions.

NEIRC Regional Meeting held at Truckmounts & Drying solutions

This meeting began with Chinese food a favorite among the many attending members.

The NEIRC held another regional dinner meeting at Truckmounts & Drying Solutions. The speaker Sherman Guffy, was teaching the Commercial Carpet Cleaning School, a two day course attended by many experienced professionals as well as their employees of companies wanting to trained a certified employees.

Sherman spoke about commercial cleaning and the several methods used to market and to actually get out and cold call potential customers. We learn about establishing your cost to do business as well as ways to charge for your services. Speaking from his own experience as well as learning from others the best and proven methods of managing your business as a professional cleaner. Speaking about using several cleaning methods such as Truckmount cleaning, spin bonnet cleaning, machine cleaning and using encapsulation cleaning solutions.  

During and after the meeting Sherman fielded many questions and also received other ideas that work well for members. We came away with new knowledge and again, we have members sharing their know how with other members. This is one of the objectives of the reason why the NEIRC was established over 50 years ago, "Members sharing information with other members".
